French Toast

Yields: 4 Servings
Ingredients:
3 large eggs
1 c milk
1/4 c sugar
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1 loaf french bread (16 oz)
Directions:
Cut the french bread into 1" slices (bread is better if it is a day old).
Beat the eggs lightly, add the next 5 ingredients, stir well.
Soak bread on each side for about a minute. Cook on a grettle until golden brown on both sides (turning once).
Sprinkle with powder surgar.
Another variation is to us 1/2 tsp of almond extract instead of vanilla extracts.
