Pizza: Pam Cooking Spray 2 (10-oz.) can Refrigerated Pizza Crust (like Pillsbury Pizza Crust) 8 oz of pizza sauce (see recipe below or use store bought) 1 8 oz package mozzarella cheese, shredded Any Pizza Topping; suggestions: Jimmy Dean Sausage, pepperoni (chopped), mushrooms (chopped), bell peppers (chopped), red (purple) onions (chopped). 2 – 12-c non-stick Muffin pans (or cook in 2 batches using same pan) Sauce: 8 oz can Hunts tomato sauce ¼ tsp Morton salt ¼ tsp black pepper ½ tsp Italian Seasoning Small sauce pan |

Directions: Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees (F). Spray muffin pans with Pam cooking spray. Roll out pizza dough. Use a glass with a 2.5” diameter to cut pizza crusts. (one can of pizza dough usually yields about 9 pizzas). Press each pizza dough into muffin pan, pushing down in the middle to form a “cup” shape. Fill with ½ tsp of sauce, 1 tsp of cheese, and chopped toppings of choice. Cook for 10 minutes. Remove from pan and let cool for 5 minutes, serve hot. Directions: Heat Hunts tomato sauce over medium heat, add Morton Salt black pepper, Italian seasoning and simmer for 10 minutes. Cool, refrigerate leftover for later use. Tips & Suggestions: Kids will not only love these pizzas, but would have fun making them with adult supervision. The left over pizza dough can be combined and rolled out and cut make additional pizzas, but the dough won’t be as “light” as the dough straight from the can. We still had no problem eating them. |
